Almost there

Almost where I’m supposed to be
It’s not all clear, but you keep showing me,
With every step, the more my heart moves to Your beat
And just like where I’m headed, there’s joy in the journey

So, school’s almost out. Sophomore year’s almost over.
So much stuff is ending, yet so much is beginning.

This summer is gonna be hard.
1st summer away from camp.
Interning at church.
Getting work done.
Fulfilling my calling.

I’ve felt this calling to this place, and yet I don’t know what exactly it’s gonna be.
I’ve had to struggle, both with hindrances and unsurity of whether this place is right and with letting go and the pride of leaving the old place for a summer.

But God is bringing me to Cypress for the summer for a purpose. Many purposes.
All I can do is do my best and pursue Him along the way.

I have many hopes for the summer, many desires, but let them be solely for You, God.
